The Grissom Team has updated the student dress code for the 2026-2027 school year. Our dress code at Grissom aligns with the Tulsa Public Schools dress code linked below.  All clothing must be appropriate for the school setting and promote a safe, respectful learning environment.

Grissom Attire Expectations

For safety and a positive learning environment:

• Shoes: Closed-toe and closed-back shoes with rubber soles are required. Tennis shoes are preferred. Crocs are not permitted.
• Bottoms:
  • Leggings and tights may only be worn under skirts or shorts.
  • Skirts and shorts must extend beyond the fingertips when arms are at the sides.
  • Pants and jeans may not have rips, tears, or slashes.
• Fit & Coverage: Clothing should fit comfortably—not excessively tight or baggy—and provide modest coverage of the neckline and full coverage of the midriff.
• Tops: Shirts must have sleeves. Graphic shirts must display a positive message.
• Hats: Hats and caps are not permitted inside the building.

Grissom has a limited supply of emergency clothing. Please contact Mrs. Day if your family needs assistance. We can also connect families with community organizations that provide clothing support.
